cake and more cake
On your birthday or any day, what is your favorite cake to indulge in? Why not pair that cake with a boudoir session? Yes… boudoir and cake. Trust me, it’s as fun as it sounds. Instead of going out for dinner or planning a big party, celebrate your birthday in a way that feels a little more memorable. Boudoir sessions have a way of doing that. They create space to slow down, step outside of everyday life, and just exist in the moment for a little while.
And honestly… who wouldn’t want to treat themselves with a cake?
Brieanna Arsenault (Breezy Bakes) and I collaborated to create a fun new way to embrace yourself. The main idea behind teaming up was for a birthday boudoir, but it doesn’t need to be your birthday for you to add a cake to your boudoir session. Buying a house, being sober for two years, a divorce, or a marriage are all reasons to appreciate yourself!
There was music playing, some nervous laughter at the beginning, and that familiar feeling most people have when they first step in front of the camera: What do I even do with my hands?
But after a few minutes, the nerves faded. The session shifted into something relaxed and playful—exactly how the best shoots tend to go. There were tons of hooting, hollering, and laughing. Boudoir isn’t just about the pictures, it's about the experience, and honestly, it's freaking fun!! Some of the best laughs I have had have been during a boudoir session.

I’m Brie, a full-time stay-at-home mom & baker, based out of Millers Falls, MA. My love for baking was born from my innate need to DIY everything, including my kids’ cakes. One of my first excursions was a dirt mountain adorned with monster trucks for my son’s 3rd birthday! As time went on, I started volunteering to make my best friend’s kids cakes & attending; guests asked if I did it professionally. Thus, the seed was planted to take this joy of baking and decorating cakes and turn it into a passion that could support my family financially! I’ve been in the food service industry my entire life, with about 15+ years of experience, so the move felt aligned. As I’ve started to grow my clientele through word of mouth and social media, and to take on more projects, I’ve discovered the core of my passion in baking: decorating. I reach such a fulfilling, joyful flow state when the cake is stacked, the piping bags are filled, and my shoulders are warm after mixing all the colors. I love to bring baked goods to life and fantasize about the joy my client will feel when they get to reveal their cake or cupcakes during their special occasion. I get to curate a memorable moment full of excitement and joy & I couldn’t think of anything better.
